Teach for America
Since 1990, Teach For America (TFA) has played a leading role in addressing inequalities in education. It is a non-profit organization whose mission is to eliminate inequalities in education, by calling on professionals of excellence.
Every day, team members, alumni and students radically redefine what is possible in communities across the country. TFA has a positive impact in many ways and is now present in approximately 51 regions of the United States, with more than 53,000 students and 6,400 members.
Project objectives
- Streamline and automate the selection process to choose the right candidates.
- Decrease time spent performing manual tasks.
Bonita deployment
The admissions team receives between 60 and 70,000 applications per year and is must select candidate who will become TFA teachers each year.
The project started with a pilot that gave very encouraging results, and TFA is looking at implementing Bonita for more highly manual processes in both their front and back offices.
Project results
- These new processes allow staff to focus on value-added tasks, putting the best teachers in the classroom.
- The time spent on manual processes has been significantly reduced with the Bonita solution.
