Bonitasoft, a specialist in open source business process management and digital transformation software, is partnering with the Amazon Web Services Inc. (AWS) cloud to broaden the reach of its low-code development platform.
That platform, just released in a new version called Bonita 7.6, comes in an open source version and a subscription version with professional support and advanced features.
Bonitasoft claims to be the largest open source provider of such software. The new v7.6 edition, which was announced in conjunction with the AWS partnership, comes with a new add-on called Bonita Continuous Delivery, designed to reduce the time needed to deploy the platform to just a few minutes via automatic provisioning.
When added to the platform, that module can tie in to Ansible and Docker technologies for such provisioning. Bonitasoft said Bonita applications are fully compatible with on-premises and AWS cloud deployment. The company said the AWS partnership will permit organizations to effectively run the Bonita platform with Amazon AWS cloud technology.
"With cloud-based access though AWS, digital process applications on the Bonita platform are easily highly distributed and secure," said Miguel Valdes Faura, CEO and founder of Bonitasoft, in a news release. "We are pleased to have AWS as part of our partner ecosystem."
